Villa Godthem has a history that stretches back over a century. From being the private residence of opera singer Carl Johan Uddman to becoming one of Stockholm's most iconic restaurants, we have preserved the genuine atmosphere and placed great emphasis on offering Swedish home cooking with carefully selected ingredients.
Our menu offers everything from classic dishes such as lobster soup, herring tray and Wallenbergare to our most famous specialty - the plank steak, which has been a signature dish since the 1950s. With carefully prepared flavors and a passion for tradition, we create a dining experience that combines history and the present.

With the unique location next to the water, Villa Godthem has enormous potential as the bride and groom can make an entrance both by sea or by land.
On verandan we can accommodate about 120 seated guests and indoors we offer about 160 seats. For small and intimate weddings (up to a maximum of 40 guests), the Club Room fits perfectly – here you are completely separated from the rest of the restaurant.

Our Grand Menu is for parties of at least 25 people and needs to be pre-ordered at least one week before the visit. Please note that it cannot be ordered on site.
